Inner-City Underwriting Inc. Now Serving Construction Wrap-Up as Inner-City Wrap

Everyone knows that the best rap music and performers come from the inner-city and the urban lifestyle.

However, now the inner-city is also known for the best construction wrap-up services.

Who We Are

Inner-City Wrap is a division of Inner-City underwriting Inc., a leader in providing effective risk management solutions to promote urban economic development.

Our History

For more than 24 years, Inner-City Underwriting has led the way in creating innovative solutions that expand availability and affordability of insurance, surety and risk management within urban markets and underservedcommunities.

What We Do

Inner-City Wrap builds upon the success Inner-City has achieved in helping small contractors including minority, woman, veteran, and DBE owned firms secure surety bonds and insurance for public sector construction projects. The new division has been created to bridge a deep divide between diversity and risk management goals for large construction projects.

Construction Wrap Up Insurance Service

What Is Construction Wrap-Up?

The term Construction Wrap-Up describes a centrally purchased insurance program for a large construction project. Instead of relying on the insurance of each contractor and subcontractor on the project, the owner or general contractor will purchase master policies for workers compensation and liability insurance. These policies cover the project owner, general contractor and all subcontractors.

Resolving Conflict to Foster Inclusion

As you would expect, the development and administration of a centrally coordinated insurance program is complicated and gets even more complicated when you add in diversity goals that expand the community economics benefits of the projects by allowing smaller firms based in the community to participate. Inner-City Wrap provides a comprehensive list of services that effectively responds to and resolves conflicts caused by risk management and diversity requirements.
